Import & organize contacts

Bring in contacts via CSV, tag them, and build your first segment.

  1. Open Contacts

    Go to /contacts from the sidebar. Click Import to upload a CSV — the first row should contain headers like email, first_name, last_name, company.

  2. Map columns

    We'll auto-match columns by name. Review the mapping, then confirm. Duplicates are merged on email by default.

  3. Add tags

    Select rows and apply tags (for example: lead, vip, newsletter). Tags power segmentation and campaign targeting.

  4. Create a segment

    Open Segments and define filters (tag is X, country is Y, last_opened > 30 days). Saved segments stay live — new contacts that match are added automatically.
